About Law Office of Lisa Fagan
As a parent of children with disabilities I am keenly aware of how difficult it is to advocate for your loved ones. The emotional and legal complexities are often overwhelming. My goal is to provide clients with the support and education they need to understand issues and processes involved in these matters as well as outstanding advocacy services.
I graduated cum laude fromWashington College of Washington, the American University. I have been an educational advocate in the northern Virginia area and have been active in the disability community. I chaired the the Fairfax County Advisory Committee for Students with Disabilities for three years and currently continue to serve on the committee. I am a former member of the Fairfax Disability Services Board and a graduate from the Virginia Board of People with Disabilities Partners in Policymaking Program. I am a peer reviewer for the US Department of Education. I have also served as a court appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children and am currently a guardian ad litem for abused children.
